Today, we announced the completion of the work our Building Committee. Once called the Church Growth Committee and initially tasked with determining how best we could and should move into the future as a church in northern Stafford County, this group was formed way back in 2001 and placed under the able leadership of Adrian Burke. When Adrian had to move on with his profession (the Marines tend to move people around), Marty Pressey took over at the helm and further led the group in making many important strategic decisions for the NSCofC. Construction began on our new facility in 2005 with move-in taking place earlier this year. It has been a long process but one, we think, well worth it.
Thanks to all of the good men and women who served on our Building Committee, to our NSCofC leadership, and especially to all of the good people of NSCofC who were so patient, understanding, and faithful in our expansion endeavors.
We are now done. This webpage record is complete. No more entries. We have completed a major and very significant segment of NSCofC's life.
But it is also time to begin something new. We have plans for further physical and spiritual expansion at NSCofC. Even as we consider (within the next year or two) plans to physically expand our facility again, we also anticipate further evangelistic outreach in our local area and in Europe and Central America. We anticipate connecting with people of our local area in ways not previously attempted. We desire to challenge our people to even greater works, in faith.
God is good. He has provided. May God bless us all.
