In the past few weeks, some major milestones have been observed in the construction of our building. First, all water and sewer is now up and running in both buildings (of course, capped off in the new building yet) with city water and sewer. We no longer are on septic and well. The septic will be abandoned and likely either filled with sand or crushed and then backfilled. We are attempting to keep the well operational in order to use well water for landscape and other outdoors requirements. This will be up to Stafford County as to whether we can keep the well or not. Inside, taping and plaster is evident. Not too far away from some undercoat painting on some walls. Most all duct and electrical work is done so all walls will likely be up very shortly. A bit of work outside has taken place in the form of leveling and general preparation for landscaping. All told, we are moving along, albeit slowly. We anticipte occupancy sometime in October if things keep rolling along the way they are. Much thanks, again, to Mike Faris for his almost dialy forays to the site to keep up things, be an advocate for our interests, and generally keep things moving along. Lots of work and time on Mike's part.
